ration,amendment,correction,deletionorinsertioninrespe

ctofsuchlistandpurportingtobecertifiedbytheCommissi

onerortheCollectorofRatesorbyanypersonauthorized

byeitheroftheminthatbehalfshallbeadmissibleinevide

nceinanyproceedingsunderthisOrdinanceonitsproductionw

ithoutfurtherproof,and--(a)untilthecontraryisprovedthe

courtortribunalbeforewhichsuchdocumentisproducedshall

presume--(i)thatthedocumentiscertifiedbytheCommissioner

ortheCollectorofRates,orbyapersonauthorizedbyeitherof

theminthatbehalf,asthecasemaybe;and(ii)thatthedocum

entisatruecopyoforextractfromthelistorrecordto

whichitrefers;and(b)suchdocumentshallbeprimafacieevid

enceofallmatterscontainedtherein.(3)Nothinginsubsection

2)shallprejudicetheadmissibilityofanyevidencewhich

wouldbeadmissibleapartfromtheprovisionsofthatsubse

andinformationthereon(1)TheCollectorofRatesshallmakeava

ilableforpublicinspectionacopy,inlegibleform,ofeach

valuationlistduringofficehoursoneveryday(notbeingapubl

icholiday)inthemonthsofAprilandMayoftheyearinwhi

cheachsuchlistfirstcomesintoforce.(Amended54of1990s.

12)(2)Priornoticeofintentiontomakesuchvaluationlistsa

vailableforinspection,andoftheplaceandtimeatwhichthe

listsmaybeinspected,shallbepublishedintheGazette,andin

atleastonenewspaperintheEnglishlanguageandoneinthe

Chineselanguage,publisheddailyforcirculationinHongK

ong.(3)Anypersonmay,duringtheperiodreferredtoinsubsect

ion(1),takeanyextractfromthecopyofthevaluationlists,

whichismadeavailableforinspection.(4)TheCollectorofRate

sshall,uponapplicationbyanypersoninsuchmannerashema

yspecifyandonpaymentofsuchsumasmayfromtimetotime

bedeterminedbytheFinancialSecretaryandpublishedin

theGazette,provideinformationcontainedinavaluationlist

inforceontheaddressordescriptionandtherateablevalueof

anytenement.(5)Inthissection,officehoursmeanstheho

ursduringwhichtheofficeoftheCollectorofRatesisnorma
